I can't beleive another year has past.

How did this happen?  Another year has flown by and the little angle that made me a mom is now a four year old!  We had a fun family birthday party for him.  Grandma, Grandpa, Cameron, Annie, Leslie, Heath, Piper, Chloe & Gabe all came to celebrate with him.  Lunch was yummy, the cake was cool and the presents were awesome.  He had a wonderful birthday.  When I put him to bed he asked if he could have another one in few days.  I said well, actually not for a whole year.  Which I'm sure to me will feel like a few days when I look back on it all.  We love you so much little man! 

Here is a picture of the cake that Ty decorated.  I asked him to help come up with a Star Wars idea and he ended up decorating.  He did a great job and of course the Birthday boy loved it.

Christmas

I guess since so many people still have Christmas decorations up I can still post about it right. ;)
Christmas time was good. Here are a few of the things that we did that we remembered to take pictures of. These first ones are of our little helpers decorating the tree. Xander loved the ornaments especially the balls and yes he tried throwing them.



We wrote letters to Santa and went to Macy's to send them. (Why Macy's? Because they donate $1 for every letter you send to the Make-a-Wish Foundation.)



The boys saw Santa at our ward party. I don't know if either of them were very sure about the whole thing but at least neither of them cried. :)


We went to Temple Square to see the lights with Dan & Riki. It was fun minus parking of course. We vowed to go earlier in the season and not on a Monday night.


We went to Ty's parent's house for Christmas. It was fun to have his whole family there with us. It was a really fun Christmas. Playing games, eating, watching movies, eating, and more eating. ;)


This little one loves books. So he snuggled in right after opening them.

I wasn't the best picture taker this Christmas. It was a really fun Christmas. Hayden and Xander were so cute to watch. They really make my life so much fun.

Thanksgiving

I know I'm way behind I do transcription at home and so sometimes I just don't want to be on the computer. That's one of the reasons I'm behind. But I wanted to post on some of the holidays I've missed and so I decided to start with Thanksgiving.
We went to New Mexico for Thanksgiving. It was fun to go home and see my mom and dad and grandparents. We had a full house for Thanksgiving dinner. It was fun to see everyone and catch up a little bit.

This is almost all of us(a few are taking the picture and Xander was asleep). We really had a full house. It was fun to have such nice weather so we could go outside and let the kids run around a little bit and take some pictures.

I love my family and I'm very grateful for them. I wish my older brother's family and sister could have been there. Luckily I did get to see my little sister a couple days later. But I sure love them all. I'm blessed to be part of this family.

Another Christmas has gone by. It's crazy how the years fly and the kids grow. I'll have a little summary of the holidays soon. I just haven't been blogging forever and I haven't been checking bloggs to see how everyone else is doing. So I'm pretty behind. I'll get right on it. ;)

No "Best Friend" for Hayden

Well, we had an interesting experience this past weekend. We wanted to go to the Ute game but figured it would be too cold for the boys. So we asked Sarah and Great Grandma if the boys could come over and play with them during the game. Of course Sarah said yes 'cause she's so sweet and willing to help. Little did she know she was going to have an interesting night. The boys had a great time minus one problem. Hayden is apparently allergic to dogs. He has been around this pug dog before so I'm not sure why this time it affected him but it really did. Sarah gave us a call and luckily we were all ready on our way. This is what I found when I arrived.

I'm not kidding! His little left eye was pretty much a slit. And the face Will Smith is making is what I was feeling inside. I tried not to show Hayden because I didn't want to freak him out. Anyway, we left Grandma Lloyd's house and went straight to Albertson's and got him some Zyrtec. Here are some pics of him after the Zyrtec and the trip home. He already looked so much better. We put him in the bath to try and wash any of the dog off him because he said he was itchy all over. Anyway, I'm not sure what to do now. Do I need to have him tested to make sure that it was the dog and not something else I should know about? I don't know. I guess I'm going to call my pediatrician and see what she says. The good news is he is fine and is back to my handsome none puffy little boy. The next morning he asked me, Mom, are my eyes still puffy? I think he was a little worried. Poor kid.

Halloween

Here are some pics of the boys Halloween costumes. Hayden is Anakin Skywalk (in case you're not a Star Wars fan) and Xander was a spider. These pictures were actually from our ward chili cook-off/trunk or treat. (I won the firestarter award for the hottest chili, New Mexico chili baby.) On Halloween Xander was Yoda (he has lots of hand-me-down costumes) but I forgot my camera when we went to trick or treat with my Aunt so I will have to get some pictures from her because he was a pretty stinkin cute Yoda.
