I just found this on one of my friends blogs and thought it was worth sharing. It is a site called Free Rice. It is a very creative way to help the hungry. Go see for yourself.

I also put the link in my Fun Websites on the sidebar so if you can't get it to open then try the sidebar. ENJOY.

I've been tagged.

Okay Allison tagged me like a month ago but I keep forgetting to post so better late then never. I've been tagged to share 7 interesting things about myself. So here it goes.

1. I have donated my hair to locks of love 3 times. The first time my hair donation was 21 inches long.

2. I sang in the choir in the last conference held in the Tabernacle (not the one after the rededication the one before we started using the Conference Center) I also sang in the choir in the Conference Center for Pres. Hinckley's Be Smart, clean, etc. talk.

3. I went to the top of the Empire State Building on Valentines Day 2003 (with my love Tyler). This was really fun, really cold and extremely busy. Shout out to Sleepless in Seattle fans and side note they never did the heart on the side of the building :( but they change the colors of the lights at the time to be red and white.

4. I've almost been hit by a train twice. The first time was with my mom when I was little and we were in a Uhaul moving. My mom was following my dad and he went over the train tracks in time but we barely stopped in time to not get hit. I don't remember it as clearly as my mom does. Which is probably a good thing. The second time was at a youth conference and the leader that was driving the car raced over the tracks as the train was coming. Not as close of a call as the first but not fun either.

5. This one might not be as interesting to those that already know it but I think it is cool. My parents came up with my name by taking the first of my dad's name (Martin) and the first of my mom's name (Lisa) and putting them together. MARLI. Pretty cool eh?

6. A lot of you know how scared I was of labor and yet I ended up having a totally unmedicated delivery with Hayden. Awesome experience. And yes I will try to do it again in future children, but if it doesn't work out then I'm happy to be born in the time with modern medicine.

7. I’m not very picky when it comes to eating and I will try pretty much anything once. But two things that are pretty common and well liked by the majority of people that I hate are Stuffing (yes including Stove Top) and Licorice (Yes red, redvines all kinds). I find both of those things to be rather nasty. There are other things that I don’t like to eat but those are the two that I get the most looks of “are you crazy” when I say them. ;)

Okay I guess I'm suppose to tag 7 other people now. Your it Trisha, Heidi, Mary, Melanie, Ang, Anna, Rebecca

Share some love!!!

Valentines day is right around the corner and February is kind of the month of love so I decided to post some of my favorite love quotes from movies. And I want all of you to tell me some of yours and if you can't think of a favorite love quote tell me what your favorite romantic movies is. Okay here are a few of my favorite movie love quotes:

"The best kind of love is the kind that awakens the soul, makes us reach for more, plants a fire in our hearts, and brings peace to our minds." ~The Notebook

Take love, multiply it by infinity and take it to the depths of forever...and you still have only a glimpse of how I feel for you. ~Meet Joe Black

Love? Above all things I believe in love. Love is like oxygen. Love is a many-splendored thing, love lifts us up where we belong, all you need is love. ~Moulin Rouge

If you love someone you say it, You say it right then, out loud, Or the moment just passes you by. ~My Best Friends Wedding

Death cannot stop true love. All it can do is delay it for a while. ~Princess Bride

I think I'd miss you even if we'd never met. ~The Wedding Date

Love is like the wind you cant see it but you can feel it! ~A Walk to Remember

"Why do you want to marry me? So I can kiss you anytime I want!" ~Sweet Home Alabama

"And remember, as it was written, to love another person is to see the face of God." ~ Les Miserables

Okay, so there are a few good ones. So share some more with me and don't forget to kiss the one you love. :)

Shout out to the Jazz

I'm loving the Jazz right now. Well I'm always loving the Jazz but sometimes it's really not fun to be a fan. They have really started to play together. We have gone to 5 or 6 games so far and the last one we went to was vs the Spurs and it was really fun. Fun because we pulled out the win of course. They are on a good roll right now so I hope I don't jinxs them. I added a Jazz Widget and a picture of Hayden at the last game we went to cheesin' it for the Jazz!

Party Time!

We had a birthday party for Hayden last weekend and it was really fun. I thought I would share some pictures. My little sister and I made a Toy Story cake and Tyler drew "the Claw" for one of the games. We decorated cupcakes and just had fun together. Thanks to everyone that came, brought gifts, helped and just added to the fun of the celebration. We have such great family and friends. And to all of you that were too far away to come we missed you. ;)
