A beautiful long day!

On October 16th Megan and Kit got married. If you can't tell from the pictures Kit is Tyler's little brother. It was such a beautiful day (not just talking about the weather although that was nice as well). Kit and Megan make such a cute couple and seem so happy. Since they got married in the Salt Lake Temple it was a nice reminder for me of how much I love Ty and our awesome wedding day. It was also a long day for Tyler and me because of our two year old and almost one month old. Needless to say after the wedding, wedding breakfast, driving up to the reception, the reception and driving back we were all pooped out. We were so glad to be part of it all and we are so happy for Kit and Megan. Here are some cute shots I was able to snag while trying to stay out of the way of the professionals. :)

Blessing Day.

We blessed Xander on October 12. It was such a nice day. He looked adorable and was so well behaved, he was awake for his blessing without a plug in his mouth just looking around listening (so cute). He received a beautiful blessing. Thanks to everyone that was able to come and make the day even more special. I'm so glad my mom, dad, little brother and Papa were able to come all the way from N.M. A special thanks to my Nana for making Xander's blessing outfit. What a treasure it is to me. :)

I feel so blessed to be part of such great families and to have such nice friends. Thanks again everybody.

And to my sweet little Xander. I love you so much and I'm so thankful you are here.



I unfortunately didn't get a big group picture because I was working on the dinner or feeding Xander during most of the dinner so people started to leave and by the time I thought of it most people had already left. :( I was able to grab some family pictures and cute pictures of Xander.

Welcome Home!!!

Well my little brother is finally home from his mission. We sure did miss him. Here is a picture of him and Hayden right before he went into the MTC and then one of them together after he got home. We love you Cameron it's good to have you back. :)

I also found another funny comparison picture. This is Cameron with Hayden and Cameron with Xander both around 1 month old. My two little boys really don't look alike at all. I think they are both stinkin' cute in their own way though. Anyway, time really does fly. Enjoy every moment.

Hayden & Xander have such a beautiful Grandma and Nana. These two don't look like they are grandmas!!! Here's to hoping I'm that cute as a grandma.

Xander William

He is here!!! He decided to make his grand arrival on September 17Th at 3:07 p.m. He was 6 lbs 13 oz and 20 inches. The labor and delivery went so smooth and I feel so blessed. I did hypnobirthing this time around and since I had Hayden natural I knew kind of what to expect. Well it went so much better than Hayden's. I checked into the hospital around 1:00 and was at a 5 and had him at 3:07. It's amazing what a little relaxation can do. It was still really intense but so much faster. (Hayden's labor all together was 16 hours with around 8 hours in the hospital Xander's was on and off for days probably 7 hours of timeable labor and 2 hours in the hospital). The other big difference is that with Hayden I probably pushed for an hour or more and Xander came out in 2 pushes. My mom and I took Hayden to my aunts house and then she drove me to the Hospital. We called Tyler to tell him I was at a 5 and so he decided to head over from work. He got there around 2:00 so it is a good thing he came when he did or he might have missed it. :)



Something that surprised me is that he doesn't have very much hair!! In my family all the babies come out with so much hair that I just never really pictured one of my babies to be so bald. It also looks like it has a little red tinge to it and he might get blue eyes (which I also said would never happen). Funny how genes work. :)



He is such a little angel and is so stinkin' cute I can't stand it. He is so calm and precious. I love the way he smells and I love his little noises he makes. I love how he will just stare at me and how he will find me with his eyes when he hears my voice. He is just adorable.




As for big brother. . . He is doing awesome. He always tells us go get the baby he is cryin'. And when he first saw him in the hospital he said. "awe he's so cute!" and he said it in the cutest little voice. He wants to hold him and kiss him. So far he loves him tons so that is good. I'm sure that will come and go through the years. :)
