Houdini

What? I'm not planning an escape at all.

Just grab the front and pull my little butt out.

Put my hands down and squirm, maybe I'll grab a toy while I'm at it.

Just take it and hope for the best.

Now just pull my legs out.

Freedom.

Well I got this on video but I can't seem to get my video to work and I don't have time to convert it so I hope you enjoyed the photos of his escape. What a little stinker.

How did I get so lucky?

Here is an update on the other little boy that I love. He is growing up so fast. I really can't believe it. He jabbers on and on. He crawls so fast and stands by himself. He loves climbing the stairs (which stresses mom out). He is a social eater and thinks that if we are eating then he should be too. He loves his big brother and wiggles his whole body and yells every time he comes near. He is a big time mamma's boy and wants to be wherever I am. I just love this little guy. He has a smile that just melts my heart.
His giggle is to die for. So stinkin' cute.

He has mastered the art of pouting.


He likes books (or at least he likes to pull them all off the shelf).

He loves bath time.


He is getting closer to walking all by himself.

He practices his yoga moves.

These pictures are from awhile back but I can't help but laugh when I see them. All I can say to Xander is "she's just not that into you". Isn't Emersen adorable. I love her hair and check out Dan and Riki's grass, it looks like green carpet. :)

I just love this kid.

I love the things he says.

Dad, aka Ty: Hayden touch your toes.
Hayden: I can't I have shoes on.

Dad: Hayden hand me that glove, please.
Hayden: Here you go.
Dad: Thanks.
Hayden: Don't mention it.

Mom, aka Marli: Hayden lets go inside now.
Hayden: You go and I'll catch up.

Hayden: Xander stop crying you need to be patient.
Mom: Hayden do you know what patient means?
Hayden: Yeah, it means to wait.

After farting: Pardon me.

I sit Xander down and go to get something. Xander starts to cry.
Hayden: Mom, you hurt his feelings. You need to apologize.

Random person walks by.
Hayden: Mom, what's her name?
Mom: I don't know.
Hayden: We should ask her.

On the way home from church today after picking him up from nursery.
Hayden: Mom, how was your day?

Hayden: Mom?
Mom: What?
Hayden: I love you. I love you bigger, biggest much.

Driving past the temple that's right behind our house.
Mom: Hayden, there's the temple.
Hayden: We're home!!

I really need to keep better track of all the funny cute things he says because he cracks me up on a daily basis. It's funny how his mind works.

The things I hear a lot right now are.

What is that?
What does it do?
And one of my favorites because he says it with so much excitement.
Mom, you've got to see this!!

And last but not least I was letting him help me cook and he turns to me and says, Mom, wait. I need a skirt.He did insist on the blue apron because it wasn't so "girly". I obviosuly have pretty girly aprons. Ha, ha, ha so stinkin cute. The pizzas turned out yummy too.


I love how when he says Gabe it sounds more like Gave.

I love how he has become my personal answering service. When I don't hear my phone ringing he will go answer it. I love that when it's Nana he has a whole conversation before bringing me the phone.

I love how much he likes books and learning. He is so curious and asks so many questions. I also love how he finds the letter H in the most random places. And when he finds X he turns to Xander and says, "that's your letter Xander".

I love his spirit of adventure.

I love his sound effects.

I love finding this in the morning and realizing that's why Xander stopped crying so suddenly.



I'm one lucky mom to have such a sweet, awesome little boy. I love you Hayden!

Annie & Lance's Special Day

Tyler's sister, Andrea, got married this past week. It was such a fun beautiful day. The weather was perfect, the sealing was awesome and the couple adorable. Congratulations you two, welcome to the family Lance. It really is so fun to be part of weddings.
