Don't miss the chance . . .

I just wanted to tell you to take the opportunity to tell the ones that you care about just how much you love them. My friend Ashley Thompson passed away last week and it was totally unexpected. She was 25 years old and as far as I know they still don't have a definite answer as to what happened. Around 1:00 in the morning her husband went up stairs to go to bed and his 3 year old little boy called him into his room and said "mommy is gone". Jason reassured him that mommy was just in the other room sleeping. Well little Connor was right mommy was gone. The next day before anyone had talked to Connor about what had happened he said "Mommy is gone. She is with Heavenly Father." So precious and reassuring and yet so tragic.

So sad and such a good reminder of how fragile life really is. Don't let those times pass you by. Make the best of the time you have and always tell people how much you love them. Remember today is a gift, don't waste it. :) Love you all!!!

We will miss you Ashley!!

Ashley Thompson
1982 ~ 2008

Ashley Noelle Siler Thompson, 25, beloved daughter, sister, wife and mother, passed away unexpectedly at her home in Saratoga Springs, Utah on August 21, 2008. Ashley was born December 6, 1982 in Logan, Utah to Dale and Chalyce Siler, the fifth of six children. She married Jason Thompson on April 18, 2003 in the Salt Lake City LDS Temple, and they became the proud parents of a son, Connor, now age 3. For the past four years, Jason and Ashley made their home in Saratoga Springs. They were serving as primary teachers in the Jacob's Ranch 2nd Ward. She graduated from Logan High School and Bridgerland Applied Technology College as a certified nursing assistant and phlebotomist in 2001. Throughout school, Ashley enjoyed dancing, modeling, and playing the violin and piano. Ashley then moved to Salt Lake City where she enjoyed her work as a CNA at the LDS hospital and later as a medical assistant at a private practice. Ashley loved the experience and knowledge that she gained from working in the medical field, but most important was the compassion she had for the people she served. Ashley was quite the historian for her family, always taking pictures and making lasting memories. She never missed a birthday or special event for friends and family. She would always put others before herself and never hung up the phone without saying, "I love you." Of the many things she loved, being a wife and mother were her two favorites. She will always be our beloved sister, daughter, aunt, friend, mommy, and sweetheart. Ashley had the most beautiful smile in the world and will truly be missed by all the people whose lives she touched.

Names Names Go Away I Will Choose One Some Other Day!

I'm pretty stressed about what to name this new little boy. We've gone through all kinds of names and so far they are either highly criticized or end up just not sounding right. So the other day I turned to Hayden and asked him should we name the baby Tristen? He says "No Tristen is too yucky". I say "What about Zander?" He says "No". I go through a couple of the other names we had been thinking about all with the same response. So finally I ask him "Well then what should we name baby brother?" To which he confidently replies, "Buzz Stormtrooper". If only I could be so sure. :)

Bye Bye SYTYCD.

Another season over of So you Think you Can Dance. I'm glad that Joshua won. We was a great dancer and I liked his comment at the end "God is in control and with God you can do anything".

I was thinking back on some of the past seasons and dances and here are a few memorable ones. I had to throw in Shane's group number from this season because I miss him and I thought it was a cool number. Enjoy, until next year.

Work in Progress

Okay so I went ahead and created The Little Book Nook. Check it out when you get a chance.

JULY was fun and now it's done!

Well July was a really fun month and I can't believe how fast it flew by. We did everything from Rodeos to Baseball Games. Here are a few pictures of our adventures. I forgot my camera when we went to the Rodeo, Bees game and lake so I will have to snag some of the shots other people took some other time.

Hayden has loved all his different adventures. I couldn't believe how much he liked all the rides. He went on all of the ones he was tall enough to go on and he seemed to like the "scarier" ones for his age group. I love seeing his eyes light up and the excitment he has for life. He is so much fun to have around!!
